Church of All Saints
(Poland, Subcarpathian Province, Brzozów District)

The church and the accompanying buildings form an exceptionally valuable church and vicarage compound, picturesquely set in the landscape of the Stobnica River valley.

It was erected around the mid-15th century as a mortise and tenon (log), single-nave building with a porch to the south, a three-sided enclosed chancel, a vestry and a chambered tower with a belfry, added in the first half of the 17th century.

The perfectly preserved architectural substance determines the exceptional significance of the church, the original 15th-century structure of the wall frames, the “orchid” truss with carpentry assembly marks, and the vibrant decoration and furnishings created between the 16th and 19th centuries. Attention is drawn to the unique Renaissance and Baroque wall paintings and the statue of the Madonna from the first quarter of the 16th century with features of the post-Stwosz sculptural style characteristic of Małopolska.

The wooden parsonage compound in the vicinity of the church (a vicarage, a storage shed, a parish school – organist’s quarters, and a barn) is also of exceptional value – currently the only establishment of its kind in southern Poland.
