UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Poland
At the General UNESCO Conference in Paris in 1972, the Convention for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage (World Heritage Convention) was adopted. Poland was one of the first states to ratify the document in 1976 and remains one of its most active signatories. Currently, 17 properties from Poland are inscribed on the World Heritage List: 15 cultural and two natural.

8. Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork
9. Kalwaria Zebrzydowska: the Mannerist Architectural and Park Landscape Complex and Pilgrimage Park
10. Churches of Peace in Jawor and Świdnica
11. Wooden Churches of Southern Małopolska
12. Muskauer Park / Park Mużakowski
13. Centennial Hall in Wrocław
14. Wooden Tserkvas of the Carpathian Region in Poland and Ukraine
15. Tarnowkie Góry Lead-Silver-Zinc Mine and its Underground Water Management System
16. Krzemionki Prehistoric Striped Flint Mining Region
17. Ancient and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and Other Regions of Europe
