Get to know Polish monuments

Zabytek.pl is a portal containing information on over 700 thousand sites entered in the register and the national register of monuments in Poland. Among them are 17 sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, 123 sites recognised as monuments of history, and thousands of those of local importance, yet undoubtfully worth discovering and visiting.

Zabytek.pl presents descriptions, multimedia content, archival and contemporary photographs, scans of documentation, and increasingly also 3D models, point clouds from laser scanning, films, and panoramic pictures.

The service is created by the Institute’s employees and co-created by registered users. They are welcome to supplement with photos and descriptions of the monuments. They are also encouraged to create their own walking, cycling, or car routes for touring the monuments described on the portal.
